Government of Antigua & Barbuda considers drafting laws for bitcoin implementation


The government of Antigua and Barbuda is considering implementing laws for bitcoin.

According to reports coming from Antigua, the cabinet has instructed the Attorney General to start drafting laws aimed to regulate digital currencies.

This is a big boost for digital currencies, considering that the move will underscore the fact that cryptocurrencies are legal financial instruments, unlike, say, the government of Venezuela.
